How do we tell if a dog is pregnant?

my brother has a Blue tick male, and a red tick female, The female is around 5 years old and this was her first time in heat. he did not see it but thinks she got bread. how soon can he tell, and what should he look for?

after about a week, one arm up the poop shoot and u can feel the little buggers in there. would reccomend alot of lube and a muzzle. make sure you get up in there about halfway up to your elbow to make sure yer in the right spot. know alot of guys that preg check their bitches this way and it seems to work pretty well.

Usually 63 days and pups.

28 - 30 days, lay them on their side, put one hand on each side of their flank (up high, more towards their back) and gently move your hands back and forth. If you feel grape size lumps, thats pups.
