ONE BIG SNAKE

This snake was killed in the area I like to hunt the most, and where I walked in the dark one to many times. I think It measured out to be 5' 6" with forteen rattles on it.

That is a huge snake. According to the books the Pacific Rattlesnake get 36 inches long. So much for book learning. I have seen them up to 50 inches. I hope you saved the skin. That's quite a trophy. Dewey

GOOD GOD when did anaconda's evolve to have rattles. Thats the biggest darn rattler i have ever seen, even in pics. definately a booner!!!!!!!!! that dude could have done some damage for sure. good thing hes not around anymore.

The guy in the pict works on the pumper crews for fires, when my dad worked fires he said he would find them this big but they came in a green color. Definetly gives me the heebee jeebees know that thing was up there.

I would only take on that thing from a Black Hawk fully armed and out on an open football field - gotta be fair fight after all !! Roy.
