Rigging Coyotes
Posted: Fri Sep 03, 2010 5:39 pm
I used to hunt a lot of coyotes at night.
I would use my howler about every 1/2 mile till
I got them to talk back to me.
If they were 1/2 mile or less the dogs would rig & I would send 3 or 4 to them.
Usally in 15 min or so the dogs would have one sorted out
& the race would be on for a few hours.
Some nights coyotes will not answer u, no matter what.
& the next night they will be answering all around. They will respond about 1/3 of the time.
I have called bobcats in & seen them in the lights
& had good races
QUESTION IS
Has any one figured out how to get a bobcat to talk back?
