Recently finished school and moved for good to Shepherd, near billings, MT. Looking for houndsmen in the area. I already made contact with Twist, who was nice enough to sell me a pup. Neat guy. I was also wondering if the beartooths and absarokees are any good for cats. I am fairly new to the sport, but my hook is set deep, and I think I've got a good start on a pack of cat dogs. If you have good hounds, I would love to learn from you sometime and have my eyes opened.

Josh,

whenever you want to go hunting get a hold of me I know a few spots and have a young walker out of andy's dog. I would suggest taking andy up on his offer to go hunting, he is a good guy just to hang out with. P.M. me whenever and I will give you my number, I get some coons every once in awhile if you need to train that pup.

Thanks again Andy. I'll keep you updated on the pup--so far he's just loving life and chasing my kids. I almost can't wait til he's older. I'm going to take you up on that offer once cat season starts. I'd love to tag along and watch your dogs at work.

Kehrer10, I appreciate the advice. It would be great to hunt with you sometime. I look forward to it (sent you a pm).

Josh, The Beartooth's have a good population of lions and a few bobbers in some spots. If you would like to come up and run one or two, get a hold of me and we'll figure something out. If nothing else we'll give the deer, elk and moose a run for their money.
