hunting with Jagds in Washington State

My name is Justin Rondeau, I live and hunt in Western Washington State, and sometimes hunt Oregon. I have jagds right now and a lurcher dog and we flush rabbits and hares and run jacks for Falconry in the winter and put the dogs on varmints in the off season, nutria, coons, whatever they find. My jagds are from big game lines, the oldest one is now almost 3 and I have a litter out of her so i will be chasing pigs in California and cats in the snow in Oregon (jagds don't strike quite as well as a hound!) this winter. Also flying a tiercel redtail.

I've been out with mostly walker packs chasing varmints her in western Wa a dozen times in the past few years, there are some old timers here who really know their stuff.

Justin

That is a female Redtail Hawk. We use the dogs mostly for flushing rabbits and hares for falconry. Shooting game with a shotgun or even a bow loses its luster after killing things with a hawk :-)

Thanks,
Justin
