Come on out!!
Oroville/Honcut - about 3 hrs from the OR and NV borders
Friday night poorboy hunt - 8 pm deadline
Saturday: Bench Show - 1 pm deadline; Field Trial - 3:30 pm deadline; Nite Hunt - 6 pm deadline
$10 entry for each event
Open Events (time permitting): Kid's Bench Show - $1 entry; Puppy, Single & Doubles Treeing Contests - $5 per dog
Motels and restaurants in the area. Camping on the grounds (no hookups, bring your own water).

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have said anything either, cause Aspen may be having her puppies then. I know she'll save them for the weekend instead of having them during the week. If she don't have them by then, I'll be worried to leave her home. But Craig said he's coming no matter what. Not sure if I should take that Saturday off, or save some off time for when I have to deliver pups.

So who all's coming this weekend? Anyone?
Tiny/Chawn: What all are you all doing for open events? Any treeing contests or anything like that?
I got Saturday off, and Aspen's pups will be a week old by next Sat, so things worked out well. We'll probably only do the Friday NH as we can't stay all day, have to get home and let Aspen out potty, and Drifter broke his leg so he has to stay inside as well. But, I'm looking forward to a good time!

If the weather forecasts hold out, it should be a beautiful weekend! They're predicting sun with highs in the low 60s and lows just above freezing.
We will have coffee (free), water and soda but no food, so bring your own or you can get it in town (Gridley or Oroville).

Grandma Moses is finally a Nite Ch!
We did have a good turnout and the weather was awesome. Seems the Saturday night curse is still with us though! So word of warning -- if you want to get plus points, better be here to hunt on Friday night. LOL

I didn't take any pics so I guess they're all still in Tiny's camera. We were both real sick all last week and are finally starting to feel like we might still be alive after all.
