seasons getting closer, anyone in the forums from michigan? would like to meet up with someone with dogs so i can throw my bluetick in the mix. im not looking for a kill or anything just to get sum miles under the dogs collar and mine. also im a good dog catcher.

you may want to go on michigan houndhunter website lots of houndsmen from the UP on there Im sure someone would be glad to have you along. Ill be up around Rock after the first of Jan. if you want to come down Id be glad to have some help.

I used to bear hunt the plains up there every year, there were a couple guys who ran cats often lived just east of baraga. I started hunting up north of calumet, some nice cats up there in the big swamps, but a friend lost a couple dogs to the wolves up there. i live in the central lower near harrison. michigan hound hunter is a great place to talk with guys about cat hunting.
Lansing is about 10 hours south from where they are at up there, lot of people between lansing and baraga

im down from you in hermansville. i dont have a full crew of dogs, and in the process of training my 8 month old walker pup. im tagging along with some guys now but dont know them all to well to invite someone else with. when my pup gets good and can do something your welcome to come down and id take you around our area.

Sorry for first post be this but anyone from the west michigan area? looking to get into the sport. I am a grouse hunter first and formost and have Drahthaars not hounds but looking to see if this would be the wayto spend my bird off season running hounds.
