Some things were left out of the last post
1st of all NEVER in your life will you find 2 young men that are better to hunt with.
2nd Jamison and Cookie Monster are 1st class hunters and brought everything they were told to and never lost there nerve on a 300 plus bear on the ground with 4 dogs baying it on the move.
3rdly I have never had people ask to stay and hunt dogs.
Just all and all one of the few times someone has asked to hunt had I been GLAD that I said yes.
You to are both a great reflection on your parnets and the way they raised you.
All the best
Gator
PS nice 1st bear I cant wait to see picutes of the Rug

gator they must be good people i havent never heard of anybody wanting to stay and help look for dogs before. everybody is all up for the hunt when we first start and wants to shoot the coon out, but when it comes to leading dogs out of the woods or trying to find the dogs if there lost everybody disapears without me even nowing it. maybe they just run in the woods looking for the dogs so hard i never see them again.

James brought his own tracking box he was hoping that we ran the same number.
Quickly found out that them flat State are ALOT easier to track tehn these hills.
WE spent one whole day of there hunting looking for 2 dogs ..turned out one was caught in a steel trap and the other would only come out so far before going to the trapped dog. But we did find them.
Hey James you coon hunted at all since you been home?

Sounds like you all are some good fellers to hunt with. I hope you had fun.
