Just wondering if the bears down there are affected by the cold as much as they are up here in michigan. I know your season starts dec. 6th and wondering how good it will be with the temperatures? Thanks

my oppinion is the cold affects them after we get pounded with so much freakin snow the big ones hole up and the littler bears will lay out some and stir around but most of them right now are layin pretty tight where we been huntin but some guys are finding a few tracks but weve been bustin thickets so i think it does but the weathers looking more promising thur fri sat thank god

We had tons of snow the first week and lots of bear. Only one of the bear we killed was cleaned out. The rest were stuffed full with oak. I imagine a lot of them will go to bed with the storm coming in. I was surprised at how many bear were up last week.
