Newcastle WY hound hunting

Hello,

I currently live in southern Idaho. I am an avid hound hunter and have been for many years. My job may move me to that Newcastle, WY - Custer, SD area. I know I can't use hounds in SD for cats, so I would elect to live in WY. Does anyone happen to know if there is any decent lion/bobcat hunting in that area? I have GREAT cat hunting here in So. ID. If I couldn't run lions regularily (or at least give it heck trying) in the winter, I think that'd be the end of me. I'm not looking for any specifics here, obviously. I can figure that out myself. I was just wondering if anyone happened to know what the lion hunting situation is in that part of WY. I run black and tans and blueticks. And hey, if I do end up moving I would gladly trade info. I am an avid hunter here in ID and spend many days per year in the field.

Thanks in advance!!

its like the Black Hills of SD just on the WY side. They are usually the first to close in WY, once the hills get a good snow. By the way, WY has no chase season so once the quota fills its done for the year.

good to see you Kaycee boys have a general idea of what the regulations are lol and WY is still doing its best to wipe the lions in the state out.
