what are some ways to train dogs to rig coons?

Catch a coon in a cage trap and place them by the road so their scent will travel in the wind across the road. Drive them down the road and praise any wining, barking, act that they make as they pass the area the coon is in. Once they are responding to the coon place the coon farther away and praise them when they strike.
