I hunted 2 day's and ran 2 cat's and I know another guy that ran 3 day's and ran 3 cat's but I know 3 other guy's that ran some this week and none of them found any tracks. It did'nt seem like they were moving much.

I've got a nice sized cat in my backyard that moved right after the storm was over. His tracks were all over my field. Trying to get at my chickens I would guess. Gonna set up the trailcam over some bait and try to get some pics of him. I didnt find any other cat tracks though in my travels. Plenty of coyote tracks though.

Hey Treesadie, why dont you give me your address so I can come show you how to kill that big cat in your backyard. Next time you decide to call someone you don't know or have never spoken to for that matter an arrogant prick on a public forum you should think twice. It is really to bad houndsmen like yourself are jelous of anyone with good dogs, you give the sport a bad name. Good luck to you this season. Paul Laney

Spoke to an old friend of mine in S Maine tonight. He killed one 32 lbs in front of his coyote hounds the other day. Dogs had it bayed up in a swamp when he shot it.

Treesadie, before you call someone a arrogant prick you may want to get to know them first, I have no idea who you are but I don't appreciate being called names, I am sorry I have good dogs and catch a bunch of cats, houndsmen sure are a jelous bunch.

Ah cat hunters got love um and gotta wonder some times. Treesadie this is specifically for you. Im good friends with Mr.Laney the fella you called arragent. You must have bad dogs or ur just real jealeous. One of the nicest guys around and one of the hardest working guides in the state of Maine. I have run with Paul 6 or 7 times this year and only one day we didnt run a cat, couldent find a track after a big storm. cya, headin to the woods!
