Hey Fellas have a question about a dog.

The question is a black tan a good dog still or have then all been over breed. I have not seen a GOOD one in a while and I also want to know if they are difficult to work with/teach? Are they more stubborn then a typical hound? Also would they be a good cougar dog or better bear?
Plus if anyone has a good idea to find one please point the way.

they're sure perty to look at but most I have seen are mouthy and betterkept as coon dogs. I do have a buddy that runs them on lion with great success. I think they are duncan bred. I had one of my H.B.T. bitches (wlker b-tic cross) threw a black and tan and I am keeping him to see how he does, he looks like a purebred b and t but really he's just a walker bluetic cross so I don't know if that counts.
