I had $1500 worth of stuff stole out of my truck last night. Guess i learned not to leave all my stuff in my truck. Lost my range finder, camera, digital scale, binoes, and my Astro. not cool. they did not get my 44, or the rifle i had in the truck. I guess it could have been worse.

I had my garmin and a couple of collars stolen about two months ago. It sucks. To bad you couldn't catch the guy who did it!

Hey 4fur,
You have probably already thought of this, but if you haven't yet you need to contact your insurance agent. This theft may be covered at least in part by your homeowners/auto policy. Household property may be partially covered by homeowners/renters policy and the damage to the vehicle incident to the break in may be covered by the comprehensive (other than collision) coverage of your auto policy.

Guy here in our valley had a break in a year or so ago. He offered a $1,000.00 reward and still never found the thief.. I hope you find out who did this, and they get what they got comin to 'em.. Sucks, and I'm sorry.. KattSkatt

Ya it's the sh*ts I had my WHOLE truck stolen early this year dog box, tool box, all my hunting camping stuff was in the tool box my marine radio it was a pain in the butt. My buddy found my box about 2 weeks later and retrieved it for me, the guy claimed he bought it for cheap and was gonna resale it and make a little cash, my buddy told him he had better give it up or they were going to get the police involved and got it back and all the guys infoand gave it all back to me so i lucked out on that part anyways being i just payed 900 buck for the box. That was all i got back and my truck stripped to the bone they took my brand new mud tires and not even a 1,000 miles on em even stole the battery out if it. sorry for your loss i know how you feel..

It sounds like insurance will cover some of it not sure how much yet, so i guess that will be better than nothing. Would love to see them caught, Or would have loved to catch them in the act :agmnt So the wife is freaking out now at night every little noise she hears now. Just a lack of respect, yah the country is having some problems, lets hope we get it fixed soon. Hate to see it get to bad for the sake of my kids. any way?

Go to your local pawn shops and check if the thieving jerks have tried to pawn any of your stuff. If they haven't, tell the folks at the pawn shop to keep an eye out for your property. Sometimes that can help catch the culprits.
