I have got a 6 month old pup that really acts good but when it runs it crow hops with its back feet. It runs like a fat 10 week old. I was wondering if anybody has seen dogs that did this & if they will grow out of it?

Hip Dysplasia, if its already showing at that young age I'd almost bet that by 2-3 years old it won't be able to walk. Sadly, I'd have it's hips checked and put it down before you spend a lot of time and money on it, and it's not breeding stock for sure.

Sounds like Hip Displasia! A few years back I had one that did the same thing, problem was she was a total natural but by 2 she was "DONE". Have her vet checked if it is put her down...My 2 cents for what it's worth.

I'd say a vet check is next.

Thanks for all of the input. I looked up hip dysplasia on the computer & she shows almost all of the classic symptoms. I kept 4 out of 5 pups & she was my early starter.I got to thinking & remembered a dog ( a mate to the pup's great grandmother) that showed these symptoms too. So I guess it is something that is showing up again now. I hate to but I guess I will just have take care of the problem at home before it gets worse. She seems like she is hurting now after we make a pretty good round. That's why I kept most of the pups. I'll just have to put more time in on the others that are not doing as good as her. Thanks again!
