I have attached this bill for your OWN EYES!
This bill has been referred to the Fish & Wildlife Committee, Chairman Dean.
We need to make phone calls to the Sgt of Arms and leave messages for Chairman Dean, Reps Donahue and Grad along with Speaker of the House Smith

Phone number 1-800-322-5616
We need to tell everyone we know to call to oppose this bill.  It does not matter if they hunt bear with dogs or not.  This is a tradition that has been passed on for generations.

I WAS OUT OF STATE HUNTING THIS WEEK WITH FRIENDS AND IN THE COURSE OF EVENTS A WARDEN STOPPED FOR A CHAT. DURING THE CONVERSATION HE MENTIONED THE INTERNET AND HOW HE MONITORED THESE HOUND DOG FORUMS. IT WAS NO SURPRISE AND IT JUST POINTS TO THE FACT THAT THESE FORUMS ARE AN OPEN MIKE TO THE WORLD AND HIS COMMENTS SHOW THAT ALL SORTS OF FOLKS ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO THIS INOCENT CONVERSATION. THERE IS LITTLE DOUBT IN MIND THAT THE HSUS AND ALL THE ANTI HUNTING GROUPS HAVE INTELEGENCE GATHERING DEPARTMENTS. I SUSPECT A TELEPHONE CALL WITH SENSITIVE INFORMATION MIGHT BE APPROPRIATE.

A SHORT TIME AGO AN UN KNOWLEDGE HUNTER TOLD OF HIS EXPERIENCE WITH HSUS WHEN THEY BORROWED ONE OF HIS HUNTING TAPES. THEY CUT IT, SPLICED IT EDITED IT, TO SHOW THIS FELLA BEATING HIS DOG WITH A WHIP WHICH WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL.

THIS INTERNET BUSINESS IS NO DIFFERENT THAN MOBILE RADIOS AND SCANERS. THESE FORUMS JUST REACH ACROSS THE COUNTRY INSTEAD OF ACROSS THE VALLEY. THREE TIMES IN MY LIFE SOMEONE GAVE THE LOCATION WHERE WE WERE HUNTING OVER THE RADIO AND LOW AND BEHOLD WHO SHOWED UP OUT OF NO WHERE, IT WAS NOT A COINCEDENCE. WE HAD NOTHING TO HIDE AND HAD NO PROBLEMS, IT JUST GOES TO THE POINT EVERYONE IS LISTENING WHETHER IT IS RADIOS OR THESE FORUMS.

I found when they tried to do this in Maine,The best thing was to educate your neighbors, friends that dont hunt, people at work, anyone that would listen,THE FACTS!!!!! On how hunting bear with hounds keeps things balanced. You would not believe the folks that I've talked to that did'nt know alot about it until it was exsplained.Let them know about,The facts such as,New Jersey's over population now,and the devistating problems associated with it.Roaming into peoples yard, trashing everything in there path,Starvation,Disease,ect...Most people just dont see that it's keeping the population healthier.Mr Harris is right, about our reputaion when it comes to people looking at houndsmen,These are things that really come to play now!Let it be known that were there to help anyway we can.Let them know that we need there help also.We all need to pull together no matter what state your in,yours could be next!!!!!!!!

Yes I agree Jim. Best advice I give the kids who come and hunt with me is be ethical and act like your being watched at all times by the public.
