how did you guys train your dogs too track?

Scent trail with a hot dog or a steak on a string. I start by pulling it in a strait line for about the first 4 times then start throwing little curves in it.

You know everyone has there own ways of training and i imagine that you can do it any way you like. I really have done well turning out my pups with my old dogs on a fresh lion. If you show them day after day that old dog trailing with them and some good breeding thats the best way to train for the real deal. Showing the real thing is as good as it gets.
