Question for the smarter than me members

So after allot of work going through the complete headache of upgrading my dugraphics.com website I've finally gotten a chance to look at some of the features.
So here are my questions conserning Facebook and twitter..
I don't think or expect alot of people use them but in fact it can't hurt too much having a Like button on there. I think the Face book link is somewhat valuable and will help some. I use facebook not very often but it's nice to know when all my family and cousins are telling me that they done with the dishes and taking their dogs for walks and a bunch of other stuff that I really couldn't live without knowing about.
But Twitter, is completely something I don't understand.. Is there any value in a tweet button on a site? If you are not man enough to tell me that you like twitter out in the open on this site, Hell I wouldn't blame you
but if a few of the kids that actually have a twitter accounts could give me a little idea if it's something that would help or hurt me I'd appreciate it..
Lastly, for all you Old timers, I also just put a testimonial page on my site.. So If I could get those 3 customers that were actually happy with our service last year and they wanted to say something nice, I could fool allot more people to think we have good customer service to buy their stuff with us..
