Well..thankyou very much for the introduction. And the respect goes both ways, you and your dad are top notch Houndsmen in my book. I have wanted to post more, to give the other hound hunters out there a feel for who I am, But most of my spare time has been spent in the mountains chasing Mr. Illusive. I was thinking about loyd the other nite. I probably went out catdogging with him a half dozen times or so, and I bet I only really said a few words to him. He would talk and I would listen. I sure wish he was still alive because I now have a list of questions longer than a roll of toilet paper. My old Talker dog is doing very well, He works great with that 15 m femail(she will make a fine cat dog) she has seemed to bring a little more life out of the old guy. I put in my journal that he is the best 'locate' tree dog I have ever had. At times he just makes it look so easy, whenever I start to doubt him because of his age I get proved wrong. He'll be missed when he's gone. For sure I would like to see many pups out of him, the femails should come in here soon I would think. Here is a pic of a cat the kids and I got awile back. We actually tree'd 2 that evening but I only took 1. Two nites ago I got 1 with the kids again, I had 3 dogs down when they started(roading the old dog and the 2- 15m old pups) I was a little nervous so I jumped out to look for a track and ease my mind. The only thing I told the kids was be quiet and dont honk the horn, I should have known better than to ever mention the horn. Before those young dogs really got moving, sister layed on the horn calling out the young male, he missed the race because of it. All my fault it's funny now. Anyway thanks for the kind words, I'll do my best to keep em honest while your @ work. Also to everyone else thankyou for the use of your site. I have noticed advice to young hunters that is great and valueable for their progression(and mine) in the sport. Thanks again J.W
