are there any spring bear seasons in the eastern part of the country?

New Brunswick Quebec , and Ontario I think both have Spring seasons . There is some but very limited Bear hunting Spring in Maine on Injun Property

ontario lost its spring bear hunt a few years ago did they get it back?

Maybe Not Sure . I think we last hunted Spring Bear in Ontario about 10 years ago . Sorry If I was Incorrect

No we never got it back, MNR is too stupid to admit the mistake they made, nor will they admit the bear problem we have right now. we cant put our dogs on a bear until august, and thats only if you travel about 4 hours north of me, here its september til november 31st, but the bears usually shutter down at the end of october...good hunting tho lol.
