heres a link to the video from this saturdays hunt. speed and sassy did great at getting the cat at bay. i got my 10 month old walker caliber in for his first look at a bobcat on the ground. enjoy. the big tri colored walker is speed, the smaller walker is sassy, the big brown walker is caliber and the plott is rocket.

nice video .now that young dog will have a reason to run that scent. sure makes it easier . alot of houndsmen get caught up in the moment and forget to train or exspose those young hounds so there lights can switch on so to speak . keep up the good work.

Man those are great photos. The dark dog on the right sure put the pressure on that kitty had to laugh when the cat had enough of him biting his rear and decided to grab him, did he ever run backwards to get away from those claws

yeah rocket the plott is just a nut. he wasnt on the trail so he was all fresh. he is used to bear. he just bulldozed the cat. ill have to see if i can get my hands on that video. we ended up killing the cat. it was a nice tom that came in at 34lbs. it must have been trapped before because it was missing a back paw. looked like a real old cat. the teeth were very yellow and wore down.

we still have some in the south central part but its mushy. i suppose you could find a track but its not the idea conditions by all means. i like this warm weather but i would like a nice weekend with snow to get at least one more run in. were sposed to be getting rain tomorrow. if that happens kiss this snow good bye. it was 50 out today.
