Let's talk politics here.. ..

Driving home from work almost every day, I see signs out for Ron Paul... He sure has quite the Following..

Media say he doesn't have a chance... ??

I really hate Clinton.. (really hate) . Not sure what Obama is about.. and Haven't heard much from the Republicans except they are rallying.

I'm worried... I don't hear much about any ideas or Policies.. Of coarse I haven't watched much politics unless it hits the headlines at 5:00..

What do you know??

I vote for Guns, Hunting, and Money in my pocket (to go hunting and buy guns) ;) And I haven't got any idea who that is..

The Party lines are getting blurred!
Hard to tell one from the other.
Usually end up voting against someone, rather than voting for!
:( :( :(

Ron Paul is actually a pretty good candidate. He's for guns and money...he also has a good education (Phd) and had run a successful business...on his own.
I figured he was a wacko, but after doing a little hoemwork, I think he has my vote. My issues are Immigration, Hunting, and obviously linked to hunting, Environment
Check his website www.ronpaul.org

Probably not...it's too bad. The people that are best suited for the job would NEVER take it. Let's get real, anyone that would spend 25 million to get a job that pays 400K per year is SICK IN THE HEAD!!

I'm with Buddy and I will vote for Guns, Hunting, Shutting down the borders, shipping back those that are not legal and still have a little Money in my pocket for a beer on friday night, if not then I should have the right not to pay taxes

Right now there is not a candidate on either side with the cahoonies to public speak on all those issues. Forget parties line I just want a working class individual that knows what america use to be about and what it shouold be about tomorrow.

I'm sick and tired of seeing all our tax dollars going towards foreign countries and their policies and rebuilding when we have homeless on our own streets. Our health care system is a joke and our imnport is higher then our export. What happened to the americas that used to be self sufficent

I will vote for who ever comes up with the best way to close the border. Then hunting, guns and places to hunt (environment). So far not real happy with any of the ones that will likly get the nomination.

Living this close to the border shutting down the border is real important to me. Today my new pup Jake found another thing to trash on... 12 illigals included in the mix was a 5 year old girl. I called the border patrol and curently they are still chassing them up the mountain. 10 years ago there was no trash or people off the trails in the wilderness area. The extra traffic is realy trashing the back country...

Here's my opinion fwiw:

Les Paul is a kook that has some serious flaws in his logic. I could support any of the 3 Republican front runners, Mitt, McCain, or Huckabee, though I have some reservations with each. I respect Obama, though his stand on gun control means I could never vote for him. Edwards would likely get my nod on the Democratic side.

One thing I know for sure is with a democratic controlled congress and a democrat as president gun control legislation in some form or another WILL be passed. Without a republican president to veto those bills we can look forward to more gun control laws that won't make it any harder on the criminals, only the law abiding gun owners. NRA will back whoever the Republican candidate is. Another given is if a Democrat is elected you will be looking at a tax hike. As far as border controls, Ron Paul seems to be the most emphatic concerning shutting them down, but several canidates on both sides mention stricter border controls. Whether they'll follow through, who knows. I want my gas prices down, the government to stay out of my pocket and my personal business, the war in Iraq go to a successful conclusion, and I want to have secure borders to ensure my families safety. What I don't want is some watered down universal healthcare system where the government makes my medical decisions for me, the terrorist doing a victory dance as we leave Iraq with our tails tucked between our legs, our country's security to be set on the back burner, and my gas prices hitting $4 a gallon.

Jim I hear you loud and clear and could not agree with you more on the issues but what candidate has the backing and the funding and the balls to stand up and speak those same words and then get elected :?

So far every debate I have watched on both sides no one has stood for all that and has a chance at winning the choice. I believe it is gonna be Hilary against Romney and then its a pick of the lesser of two evils

This country is not ready to vote for a muslim that will not recognize God or the American flag, hence you will see Hilary.

McCain can not stop illegals in his own state there is no way he is worthy of the task on a national level. Guiliani :? Thompson :? Paul :?
Huckabee, do not know enough about him but like some of what I have heard. Romney needs to get more in touch with the working class and the middle class of this country and not so much of corporate america.

What's the story on Huckabee pardoning some low life rapist (he raped a family member of Bill Clinton?). The guy then went to Kansas City and killed some girl.
I've heard a little about it, but no one's really hammered him on it?
Anybody know anything about it?
He did do a pheasant hunt in Iowa, which at least shows he's not anti hunting.
