I seen a picture of these tracks mounted on quads, just wondering how they work? How do they handle in deep snow? Does anyone have an idea how much they cost? How do they compare to a snowmobile?

They are outstanding in deep powder. Here is a site with most models.

I bought the Cat Tracks this year and love them. My buddy got the Commanders. They are much easier then sleds (I have two of them too)
Just strap a dog box on the back and go. You cannot get them stuck in snow.

Talk to Gary at Perfection Tire in Spokane, WA. (
www.atvtracks.net)Straight shooter with the best prices anywhere. You have to have a powerful quad with an automatic transmission. They throw snow like a hurricane and require a lot of gas. The work great, rarely get stuck. Are nice where you run into snow and dirt sporadically.

Has anyone tried them on a Rhino or other UTV?
Thanks

i dont have any and would like to get a set. The one thing that I find that would make them nicer than a sled would be that you could run them year round if you had them. Do the track wear like tires. Is a sportsmen 500 big enough.

I ran them on a Rhino. They are not made for dirt, you can go over some dirt, but they run on high faxes like snow mobile tracks and you'd burn them up. Plus, they are rougher than hell on anything but snow.

I agree with catdogs. Most of them say they can run in the dirt all day. Commanders say only for a mile or two. I wouldn't want to run them in the dirt for very long just because they are so rough over rocks. My link above is for Gary at ATVTracks. Great info on his site and like catdogs said, best prices I could find.

yeah they are awsome but here in wa state unless it has skis on the front you are not to take it on a green dot road.

Yes, you do have to check regs., Montana allows them on snowmobile roads.

How deep of snow did you get in on the rhino with them, and how did they do?
Thanks
