Was out of town and got a call from a friend at about 4:00 in the afternoon telling me he'd just seen a bobcat. It was about 35 degrees with high winds all day. The next morning I checked some roads and found nothing so I went to where he'd seen the cat the day before and got turned loose at 9:00a.m. It didn't look very promising, the track was a little melted out and blown out in a few places. On top of that there were deer tracks everywhere and the cat was going down the deer trails. One of those times when you have to trust your dogs. They picked at it for about a mile before they jumped it and after a short fast race they put him up right off the side of the highway. Good way to spend the last day of bobcat season. Videos are sideways for some reason but just tilt your head to the left....
