Treed a cat last month and the dogs went on to the neighbers property and treed the cat. They called the cops and said my dogs where to skinny. Animal control had picked them up and i followed them to a wal mart by following the gps collars. So since they where not checked in to the control center, we did not have to pay a fine. But since the lady said they where skinny. Dispatch took it upon here self to call the dumb freinds legue, because i dont live in the same county that we where hunting. Now i am being harassed by them. The guy showed up when i was not home and left a number to call him at. So i called him, He said that he did not look at the dogs but after 20 minutes on the phone he did look at the dogs and found no danger. But he said they did look lean. I told him that i bet my dogs run farther in one week the he goes on vacation. Now the guy is randomly stopping by when i am not home. Does he HAVE THE RIGHT TO TRESPASS WITH OUT PERMISSION. Do they have legal right to do this. Has any body else had them do this to them.

The dumb friends league.
http://www.ddfl.org/about-dumb-friends-leagueIn short no he does not have the right to trespass on your property. File a police report every time you can catch him on your property.

I'd tell him to drop off a bag of dog food next time he comes by.

if they are the same as in the uk this is what the uk hunters have been told what to do ,just remember they are not police or vets and cannot go onto your property unless you let them they can only see your dogs if you let them so just say no when they ask you tell them if you think there is a problem go and get a court order to see them ,then if they do that only let the people thats names are on the order onto your property and do not talk to them ,uk hunters have had a lot of problems with these charities about there hunting dogs , if they do come around with a court order as soon as they have left you call in a vet of your own and on the same day if you can and get them to give your dogs check over and tell them you want them to give you the paperwork on each dog this should be your own vet that you would take your dogs to if they had a problem if possible, if they keep coming around after you have told them what they will have to do to see your dogs them then take them to court for harassment

Nobody has a right to trespass, only the proper authoritys can trespass and even they must have a warrant. each state varies on the term tresspass, but there is no way that any group or organization has a right to cross your property line without your permission, especially if its fenced. I think its time you invest in some cameras, or game cameras.

No way does he have the right to tresspass. I'd try and get some evidence and let the law have him. A game camera picture of him walking by a No Tresspassing sign would be great. I don't know how this guy would think he's in the right. It doesn't matter if you showed him your dogs once, he can't keep checking up on you. I would also raise some questions about this animal control officer calling them in the first place, and make a stink about the harassment you've recieved due to her call.

sounds like this guy isnt to bad try to keep him as an allie instead of an enemy having someone on the inside of the system deffinately is a benefit . document everything regardless that way if it goes sour it is a win win situation.jmo ask him what he is looking for ,and if everything is up to snuff, and i bet you he will be satisfied. stay off the radar so to speak.cost my buddy thousands in court because he pissed the animal control officer off by taking the go f yourself approach . it could of all been resolved peacefully if he hadnt gone that route. the court system sides with officials .they want your money . its just the way it is .
