He did have papers. I work with the guy that owned him. The dog was out of his female that was full salmon river and the dad was half salmon and half of that george something out of the west coast? The dog has been under 10 bear trees then wasent hunted all last season cause he is getting out of it and felt bad that he's was just sitting in the kennal and herd I am just getting into it so he gave him to me. He moved about a year ago and he is trying to find all his dog papers. So I'm just going by what he and his old hunting buddy has told me all of there dogs have been plotts. And all sence they started out were salmon river or at least half bread. And I have been looking at pictures of salmon river dogs and he looks like one. I singed up for plottnews just waiting to be accepted? Just wondering thanks.

Try signing up for the smithdeal society.
http://smithdeal.smfforfree2.com/index.php All plott guys as well and many of the same folk there with less hassles getting on, and many more members on the site.
There is one guy in particular that would be interested in what you have there, and would know a lot about it. Won't post his name unless he says it is alright.
I do find it interesting you have a dog that is papered and apparently 3/4 salmon river. Many others would find this interesting and want to know more about it.
Can you post the ped for us to see? If you have problems with it. Feel free to send it to me via text or email and I will be glad to post it.

If this dog is really papered I would really like to hear about him. When or if you are able to find the papers can you post the pedigree so we can see it? The big deal about it is that for all intents and purposes there are no registered Salmon River dogs left. There are a few that are not papered that are real close, but non with papers. Even if he is not papered I am sure there is a few guys that are still interested in hearing about this dog. Thanks for sharing ahead of time.
