i have recently went to feeding the diamond naturals chicken and rice. was wondering if anyone else was feeding it and the pro's and con's ya'll had with it. for me it seems to be the best dog food i have ever fed.

I feed that on the off season and it works pretty well. The craps are a little bigger than their Extreme Athlete variety which I use 9 months or so out of the year.

I agree, Diamond Naturals Chicken and Rice is one of the better foods out there, I feed it in the summer when, even when hunting, the dogs start getting fat. I feed Extreme Athlete the rest of the time. I feed about two 8oz. cups per dog in the winter of the EA. I can't justify feeding a dog one 8oz cup, so in the summer I have to switch to the C&R to keep them from getting fat, and so they can still eat about two cups a day.

I also like Science Diet, but I don't get much of a price break on it anymore.

i'm paying 23.99 for chicken and rice and 32.99 for extreme athletes. i am only feeding 4 dogs though. none over 50 pounds.

I've been feeding my Redbone Taste of the Wild, Bison and Venison. But you guys may want to check out these site and find common ground.

I switched about a year ago and my dog really like it the only neg that i have seen is it does loosen them up a bit.

High Standard has worked really good for me I dont know if you have a dealer in your area you might want to try it if you do. Runs in that 23 to 26 dollar a bag range. My dogs seem to do better on it than they did with diamond products. Used to feed pro plan but its just to spendy for me.

Started feeding diamond naturals chicken & rice a couple months ago, dont feed as much as before, dogs look good and don t crap near as much.

just a local feed store here at the house. best dog food prices around here. they always do me right. i get all my feed and bedding wormer and lol the majority of my clothes there.(carhartt and key) and all my boots.

I feed Diamond High Energy and it keeps the weight and muscle on good 50lb bag is 24.99. i also add raw meat in the winter when they are running hard.

Diamond also bags their same naturals blend in a kirkland bag for costco. It's cheaper at costco if you have one in your area. I switch from Black Gold 26/18 formula and have noticed my hounds loosing weight on diamond naturals. I have tried to feed a little more and they have loose stools. I will switching back to Black Gold.
