ca dog training zone

can anyone tell me where i can get a map of the ca dog training zone or post a link of the boundrys so i can highlite it on a map ? i cant find it anywhere so i called the dfg they took my info and called me back with the info on the dog control zone which is totaly different from what iv been told. thanks

hey i went in and talked to a warden at the head office in sac he told me there is no map but a detailed description on the there web site.........i asked cause it gives you roads and county lines anf highway wish they had a map myself

yes i was told the same thing but the "detailed description" on their website is of the control zone not the training zone. maby i just cant find it , i dont know but if someone knows where it is please post the link

Boss, if it's not controlled it's a training zone. It's about that time buddy were going to head up in a few weeks and see how it looks.

Im not sure what part you are wanting to run in put for the most part you have to stay out of the national forest. There are a few spots where it does not hold true but many of the boundaries are the same boundaries as the national forest. They did have a map at one time on the DFG web site but it was so poor you couldnt use it for much. The thing that I found worked the best was to get a map of Northern Cal and one of Southern Cal then just start where they start in the regs and trace it out myself. You have to make sure you get a good map many dont have all the roads on them that they use in the regs to outline the boundaries. I did find an error in the regs when I was doing it and had to call fish and game 4 times to find out what was going on.

Really? Two posts and one of them is a threadjack, lengthy advertisement that has absolutely nothing to do with the original 2011 thread. At least put it in the classified section. C'mon Man!
