Can you believe that somebody actually elected these people? This letter has a familiar tone to it. It smacks of the HSUS. I wonder how much the HSUS donates to these legislators reelection campaigns? Stuff like this really makes me wonder if one day I will go to jail because I refused to quit running my hounds. -Pete

Now I hope every member on this site that has at any time or plans on at any time hunting bears here in California take a few minutes and write, fax, and or call every member that signed this. And tell them how disgusted you are with them selling out the power we gave them by voting them into office.

sometimes i hate this state

i'm completly on the other side of the country but i'd like to call them and tell them how stupid they are. chased to ehaustions butt and helpless. i wish they would come around and find out the truth instead of being closed minded and stupid.

I'm having problems using the E-mail address's directly, I don't know if it just my computer or not if it's not this the web site with all the Assembly members E-mail address's, www.assembly.ca.gov/clerk/memberinforma ... rdir_1.asp
what I did was once I worked up one E-mail I copied it and pasted it to the next and than sent them out with out a problem.

At the same time you might want to get in touch with your local Assembly Member and let them know about this and that you are glad to not see there names on this list. You might also want to take just a few seconds of there time and point out some of the truths about our sport. Also let them know how if at any time you were to see there names on a list like this it might change your thoughts come voting time. I know up here where Im from the thought of loosing a few votes can really hit home to them once they know just how many voters in the area are bear hunters.

i dont live in CA, but that is so dumb, you can obliosuly tell that they have never ran a bear in there lives. some of you good ole boys should volunteert to take them with you on a bear hunt, and see what they have to say after that. ahah

I think we should all do that every chance we get. I seen some facts the other day I should share with you guys on here 8% of the people in this country are pro hunting, 8% are anti hunting, 84% are undecided/neutral. We need to take every chance we can to get these 84% out there and show them what this sport is all about. Not just here in Cal. and not just the ones that feel this way but all of the undecided. That 84% will be the ones that say if this our sport stays alive. Its up to all of us in every state to keep the right to hunt with hounds alive.

Can the CHC put together some bullet points to include in the email or the voicemail we leave to these assembly members? It would increase the impact of our correspondence, but also would increase the numbers of folks responding since it would make it easier to do. Thanks

P.S. and we should also CC the same people that this group CC'd on their letter. Let as many folks as possible hear our side!

Let them know how much BS this is and that F&G has spent thousands of hours and dollar to prepare the Annual Bear report and that Californias bear population is at a all time high and they have expanded into areas that have never had bears.
