I was talking with a hunting buddy of mine today about this fight we are fighting here in California with the HSUS and it got me thinking about a few things. This fight is not just our fight here its every state and we really all need to step up and get in on this fight. If they win here your state may be next, and they are not just pushing to stop bear hunting with hounds read the HSUS site they want all bear hunting stopped, heck they want all hunting stopped. Does any clubs out there use the TV media to help them in this fight? I was thinking why not try a little of their game, why dont we show the undecided non hunting public the real cold hard facts. We should show some fotage of bears hit on our roads, we should show them some fotage of bears that are starving and ones that are diseased. Do just as the HSUS does to turn these undecided on to their sides with the sick sad puppies or the cows that cant walk. Really show them what they would really be facing if not for hunters keeping the numbers under control. What do you guys think do you think we could make this work? I do how much money has the HSUS made from them clips of cows, dogs and cats, heck how much has feed the children raised by showing kids in other countrys. I really think its time to play hard ball with these guys and start by beating them at their own game.

The HSUS has reported over 160million in assets. We are fighting big money who's goal is to take away our hunting Heritage.

Yes they do have a ton of money but I believe its very much worth us the hunters and sportsman to gather money up to get our word out there to people if they want to shut us down the fight back is worth it I would rather go down fighting then look back and think what could of been had we faught alittle harder

All you guys should join USSA because they are the ones fighting 'our' fight and putting up the money to represent us in these legislative issues.

The tv idea is great but i think showing sick or problem bears would only add to people feeling sorry for them and ultimately work against us. i think that showing things like hunters picking up trash , putting out camp fires , playing with their hounds, passing up a small bear or donating bear meat to homeless shelters, ect would be much more beneficial to our goal
