Does any one know if Ben Lilly's gun(s) have been preserved,either museum or private collection or if they have faded away?I've wondered this several times and was curious if anyone knows.

I know Ben Lilly hung around the silver city area here in NM. I believe the museum has info on the man/legend.. next time Iam down there ill ask the curator if they know!

wasnt he running just a bunch of mixed hounds some airedales and some bird dogs?

not from the photos i have seen, they look like blueticks and walkers.

ya I saw that photo too, and only one actually looked like a pure bred hound, the other looked like crosses, that one in front deffiently looks like a bluetick though, I have been huntin all over the net to see if I could find where I read he ran airdales and bird dogs but I can find it......

I couldnt find the website. but the Americanhoundsmen.com that buckshot set up has some good sutff on him too.
