All are doing fine….their names are:

Scooby C. Clay
Ladybird C. Clay
Dodger P. Clay
Cosmo R. Clay
Sydney R. Clay

They had their first Race the first day of May!

View My Video

Hope you all enjoy the Video surely it won’t be too graphic! Clay Hounds must start to earn their Plantation Dog Food early in life! Listen to those Mouths will you!

Dad and I just got home from Florida, in 36 days we were able to hunt all or part of 33. We had 6 hunts that did not produce a Race, but on the others we had a total to 29 Races which yielded 2 Weighed, 26 Treed or Holed, and 1 just flat got away. I will post Stories, Pics and Video by Friday.

I like the color. It looks like they could of came out of my dogs. You can almost see them winding up on a cat track already. It is always fun to see what the future brings with new pups. Dewey

I'll take the black n white cull you got in there. don't know to much about that strain but doubt that one will turn out to be much of a water dog in your country that's got to be a serious fault. :D nice looking pups you guys are using the same mold and ingredients over and over for sure. can't blame you. that's one hell of a secret recipe dad has there!

thanks for sharing, i've heard you breed some great cat dogs. I have been trying to breed a more cat minded dog couple of questions if you don't mind.
Do you cross the cat with the dame or sire?
How many kittens should you expect verses puppies?

Tim, here is a shot of Grandpa’s Dog Trainer working some Pups about 4 years ago.

Grandpa’s Doggirl sure fits her to a T. She is also a Goatie, Mule, and Horse Girl. We are blessed that she still feels like Boys have Cooties.

Seriously though, having her play with and teach the very young pups to COME, Leave it alone, STAY, etc. with basic commands helps a lot with the young Hounds education.

I think mine have got yours beat. They've been chasing cats since before there eyes were open. ;)

Those are beautiful pups. I'm gonna get me a nice little running dog like that one day, when I decide I'm done chasing these stinky ol' bears, and settle down and hunt something a little more challenging!

I know those pups will stay in "the family", if that ever changes though I'd like to try one in S. Texas. Good lookers!

Hopefully the boys will always have cooties, at least until there 30, that's what I'm hoping for anyway.
