My Dog

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him.
He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365.
His meals are provided at no cost to him.
He visits the Dr. Once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise.
For this he pays nothing and nothing is required of him.

He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.
If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep.
He receives these accommodations absolutely free.

He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
All of his costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.
I was just thinking about all this and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head….

My dog is a Democrat!!!!

Actually, Eastern Washington is pretty conservative, but I am in the Left side of the state. We are few, but we are present. Funny thing, I am originally from the most left place in our great country, SF Bay Area. Yeah, I know. Moved to Shreveport, LA area where I was able to “fine tune” the Right side of my brain and be around people that think properly, (somewhat). I had to move though because the humidity/heat combo stagnated me. I like Texas, and have given it some thought, I just need mountains though. New Mexico, Montana, Idaho are all on the radar right now depending on where this state goes! Thanks for the welcome. How is Austin? They have some hills there, don’t they? I think they’re still kind of liberal, as liberal goes in Texas, right? Maybe in the outskirts somewhere, just need some hills.

Being from Utah I love the mountains and couldn't live without em...fell in love with a place in Texas near San Antonio, I believe it was called Canyon Lake? Really nice area, the texas feel, but with some good sized little hills!
