They are Small, Black, Fast, and very Gritty.
I have owned 4 of them and 3 did not live to see 3 years old.

The main male that our Plotts are out of is Cody II and Mississippi Mud Dozer, Haven't seen many solid blacks out of him, but IMO they make AMAZING bear dogs.
The Cajun line is my favorite, his dogs are all built the way I like, personalitys are what I like, and boy do they have the hunt in them!!! As soon as I can get more dogs I am gonna get another one... Or 4 lol.
Larry and Reed on here are 2 guys that know lines and everything more then I do, I don't have my dog paper book in front of me, but you prolly can't go wrong with a Pocahuantas Plott. I think Joey Hudson has some black dogs too, not 100% on that but he has some damn nice Plotts too

Your best bet is to go and hunt with some of the guys that have been listed here and see how there dogs hunt. You also will be able to see how they hunt and then be able to compare it to your style. When you find dogs that fit your style that will be the guy you want to get dogs from.
I say this because if you start most of your tracks of a rig in the truck, you don't want to get dogs from a guy that is a bait hunter. His dogs may not have the skills bred into them that you are looking for. Of course there are exceptions to all rules.
Eugene Walker is right ther in West Virginia by you, he has a web site and you can look it up for his contact number. You can also visit one of the many plott sites and get a better idea about plott dogs throught them.
