Well I'm here in Gallup and will be till Sunday. We are here for the Junior High National Finals Rodeo. I've been looking around this beautiful country for a few days now. It's gorgeous, I was just wondering of there were any houndsmen or women in the area. I'm not needing to go hunt or anything like that. I'm more curious about how the hunting is around here (terrain, habitat, game species/pray, scenting conditions, exc.).
More than anything I'm board and wanting to talk dogs. You have no worries of me invading your territory as I live nearly a thousand miles away and have great hunting where I live. Thanks!

Jube,
Thanks buddy! Kind of stuck here. My step son is roping. How far are y'all from here? I don't think I can get away but if something comes up I'll call you.

Hey Shorty,
My buddy is down there... his kid is in the Goat Tying, Team Roping and Break Away roping. The kid is named Shad Winn.
His dad is my buddy, and he's even an ex-bull rider. Give them a call and you can hang out with them, grab a bite to eat and he can tell you first hand of my greatness. ha ha.
I'll PM you his phone number, they'd probably love some company... Nothing more dangerous than a bull fighter in a strange town with time on his hands.

I'll shoot you a PM. -Dawg

Shorty the biggest Tom I ever caught was from that country, there is a picture of him on one of my older posts. They grow some nice mulies and have a good number of elk too. It use to not get hunted to heavy but it gets a bit of pressure in the snow to the south of gallop. I done hunt there any more, too far but Nice country for sure

Shorty,
PLEASE PLEASE be very careful of any "friends" of the dawg.
He set me up a few years ago with a "friend" to hang out with, DUDE it took 2 shots of penicilin to get rid of that "friend"!!
Lord have mercy man your in the public eye be careful of the DAWGS friends.

Wish Tanner good luck for me. I visited with he and Pa Pa Phil at Mason the other day. Both he and Grandpa won a little money that day, hopefully enough to pay for the entry fees and diesel. Tell Amanda and London "Hey" as well. Stop by when going through the country.
Adios,
Gary
