Can't help you, she is from a couple of grade dogs here in BC, I have an up and comer with the same bloodlines, she also is showing some awesome grit.

Only dog i have is a female walker. Her breeding goes back to dohoneys boone and robin on top and bottom.Closer on the bottom.Ninety percent of the time she can do the job by herself.Decent grit, real good tree, best qualities trail ability and speed.

I have two lead Walker bitches. I don't really believe in having just one dog in your pack that is "lead dog" and all of mine are capable... But for all intensive purposes, they are the "go-to" girls.

Both are from Derek. Zoey turned 2 this June and has been under over a 100 biggame trees. She runs like a cur dog head up and flying. Not much for a rig dog but starts a track well and finishs strong.

Nice that is what I like to hear. My cousin and I got two males out of his last batch here. We can't wait for the snow to start their training. They are going crazy on our mock drags cant wait for real game!

Thanks for the replys I have always had walkers and plotts and lately a splash of everything. I have not seen a lot of walker females that run the front lines on bear, especialy one that realy sticks with a bad one. I have a few, but would like to know who else is having good luck with what they have? Thankyou for your responses.

My walker female Cracker is my best rig dog and lead dog, she is nice in every way. She is mostly Abbotts breeding, she is my 3rd generation female from my breeding, I just wish I had a whole pack exactly like her. Makes it hard to keep other dogs when they just dont stack up!! I've had her bred twice and no luck having any pups, I really hope I get something out of her!! she is just 4 yrs old now.

are your females grittier than your males brian?out of the same blood.what is it that your females are out doing specifically that makes you lean towards them . i know catch game ,but if you broke it down into the qualitys that get them to the end result that make you prefer them.also what blood are they out of? im a firm believer if your consistently getting females out of a line that stick with rough bear your breeding program is one that most bearhunters have trouble achieving .some would disagree ,but thats just the way i see it.,and thanks for any info you have on this subject.
