I am raising a female walker puppy that is going to be smaller than the dogs I have been used to lately. At 6 mo. she weighs 43 lbs. I have just been feeding twice a day and not trying to hurry the growth. How much more should I expect her to grow? 10 lbs? I would appreciate opinions

Yes at least maybe 20. My Ridge doubled in size in that time Frame.

Good luck.

I have a Cameron pup from Jim Harrel. She was around six months old. Kinda big boned. I went away for a trip for 40 days. When I left she was about 75% of my grown female's size. When I got home she was my biggest hound. I know she didn't double in 40 days, but it kinda seemed like it. I think that is a high growth time.

Thanks Dan and Sean, I was hoping to have a big dog in a small package but she will probably grow a fair bit more. She should still only be 60# at most.
