Cameron cross with Buzz hounds make very good crosses. Buzz is a good honest man and he has good hounds that he has been breeding for many years.
His hounds sometimes come out with a blue or chalk eye and a lot of black on their body.

I like Buzz Anderson's dogs, It's true they sometimes have the light eyes which I don't like, but they have the hunt in them.

Our old Tracer dog was a Buzz Anderson bluetic and he was taller then what we prefered, but he had the hunt and was an amazing lion and bear dog. He was the dog that had a bear bite his skull and had it rebuilt with a wire basket, he was blind in one eye but lived to be 15 years old and caught LOTS of game and earned his place.

Buzz is also a VERY good guy who is honest and really good to talk dogs with, he also does a real good job training mules. I was very lucky to spend time at his home when dad was hauling dogs and he showed us the things his mule could do and it was really entertaining.

All I have seen make nice dogs on bear and varmints, I have had nice crosses out of my dogs onto them. Seem to have decent noses, mouths and speed.
They do tend to be shorter eared and can be very high strung but super athletic and smart.

I have a 2yr old Buzz Blue male from LCKs kennels, likely from the same litter as 2walkers came from, I cant speak for all buzz blues just mine, redwood summed it up pretty well, mine is a little hyper at times, very smart, fast & musuclar, If he trees you best plan on getting there somehow no matter what, he does not believe in quitting a tree and will stay, he is smaller, short coupled, big bawl mouthed little fireball, He does seem to be a little crow footed in the front end, but that could have been my fault feeding when he was a pup, I did get the chance to hunt with the parents and they were both real good dogs, all in all I like buzz blues,

The two that I have seen hunt were coming along very well on lion. Good mouth alot of grit and great drive. One was a female and the other was a male. Like I said good dogs straight from Buzz. Ol' Wally knows those dogs well too.

Buzz has raised some nice blues from before most of us remember. I have a bluetick that is half buzz bred and she has more determination and grit than most that I have hunted with. She works good on bear and coons. There has been many times out bear hunting when the rest of the pack quit and she ended up treeing the bear by herself.

A lot of people dont know this but Buzz was responsible for one of the most bred around blueticks of all time. That would be the SMOKY RIVER DIAMOND JIM. Dont call him smoky river around him though that may cause a bad reaction. Lol. I have only talked to Buzz one time but he said a lot of his dogs go to big game hunters.

Les Mitchel a long time blue dogger and friend of Buzz bought a dog directly from him named Rush. That is where our Katey dog comes from. I never got to hunt with Rush but heard he was an exceptional dog.
