I think my husband is on the count down track as well. I noticed all his gear is getting the once over and the "need for this season" gear list has been started.. He has been out cooning a bit but I have noticed evenings are getting blocked off to leg up the pack!! Lets hope this cool weather keeps up!!

Hope everyone has a great season!!

what are the rules for Nonresident hunters in WY? I'm in NE washington and theyve got us pretty well shut down. If I don't draw an ID tag I'm out of luck... Can a guy come down to WY to chase pretty easily?

ya if i remember right it was your idea to try and drive through that drift! ha ha anyway i am heading home in the morning. iam done logging for the summer we need to get after them before the snow flys so we aren't spending as much time shoveling plus it's much warmer this time of year!

check out nevada for out of state lion. about 260 will get you a tag and license and you can run 24/7. Just something you might want to look into.

It sure is a great cycle! i grew up on the oregon coast been logging since two days after i graduated high school. The guy i cut for is great to work for especially now that i live in wyoming. he just says givehim a call when i am ready for more work. there are lots of logging jobs to be had on the coast seems like none of the younger generation want to work in the woods anymore unless they are a forester. i think they all should have to log at least two years before they can administrate a sale.
