off season

We are totally shut down on bears where I am at for pretty much the entire month of august. I am so bored and so are the dogs. I used to try coon hunting in past years but found it pretty hard to track a coon with 80 degrees and a stiff breeze, that always seemed to happen on the nights that I could break free.
I am soooo bored!
What does everyone else do with a month of slack time?

i was just out in idaho with some buddies, had a blast, caught a couple bears in some real perty country. i play with the coons when i cant bear hunt or try to caught bobs, but i do it during the day. i found them coons in 80 degrees layed up in the berry vines all the time, somtimes theres a race sometimes not, just a fight, but its better than sittin at home. the kids like huntin durin the day to so maybe thats why i do it.
good huntin
