Loss of range with DC30

One of my DC 30 collars has lost its range recently. It is only good out to about 300 yards. I have checked the antenna connection and it is good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have one that may be doing the same thing! Not sure what would cause them to do it. Any info would be great.

I emailed garmin with this problem and they recomended that I update my collar to the latest software version, I knew this was not the problem as my collar was up to date (LOL). Today I spent a little time and was examining my collar and found that the antenna was broken about half way down it. I could feel the break in it as i moved it around. I ordered a tuff skin antenna from Buddy and that should fix the problem.
