I just bred my female Sunday. If all goes well, I should have some puppies around the end of April.
The male is on the left and my female is on the right.
The male is out of Gene Walker's Pocahontas Cody II dog.

My female has Alan Smiths Blackwater Gritty Gretchen nad Kanook as her Grandparents. She also has Pocahontas Cody and Pocahontas Gator II in her Daddy's pedigree.

This little female is a good little dog. She just turned 3 and has been on around 25 to 30 Bear. She's a 90 - 100+ barks a minute tree dog.

I also had a littermate to this male. He died at the paw of a bad Bear 2 seasons ago.

This is the description of the Male who'll be 5 in May.

Irv,
You are welcome to breed to Osage at any time. I am very happy with him. I just went through my notes and found that I have been to 46 bear trees with him on the ground and he made all of the trees. He has made 10 lion trees and not missed any of them. Of course, I have worked many cold tracks that did not end in a tree. But if the animal treed with Osage on the ground, he has been there every time so far.

These pups will be priced for the working man @ $200.00 each.
Thanks for viewing!

Hey Irv, long time no talk. Sounds like Mrs. Beasley's been doing good (20-30) bears. I hope everything goes well with her litter. Sorry to hear about Magnum, he was a FINE hound!

To everyone that had contacted me with interest of getting one of these pups, there won't be any available to the publick.

The pups arrived 11 days early, and when I went out to the pen on Thursday morning 4/17/08 there were puppy sounds. She wasn't even supposed to deliver until 4/29/08.

Well, to make a long sad story short, she had laid on 5 of them. There were 5 (4 F & 1 M) living at the time I found them. She laid on 1 more so now there's 4.
These 4, (1M & 3 F) are doing tremendously well! They'll be 2 weeks old tomorrow 5/1/08. I'll put a picture of them up tomorrow.

Lord Willing, we'll try it again next year.

Thanks again to ALL that had contacted me about pups.

Tough luck Irv, I know how you feel, I had the same thing happen with my Stormy dog a couple of years ago, couldn't save any off them. It seems like it will happen to the litter you are the most excited about whelping.Again, sorry
