Mast Crop 2011

How is the mast crop, hard and soft in your area? this should be interesting considering how much country will be reported. Terry :?:

here in most of east texas what didn't burn didn't make none of my oaks [that i even watered ] are barren of accorns and most of there leaves, been tuff around here !

This seems to be an extremely good year around here, didn't get any late spring frost and got enough rain. Had good choke and pin cherries, apples are loaded and even the beech have nuts which I haven't seen for several years. Very few oak around here but people have been planting them. Oak can be found in towns here and in the woods I think three hours west from me...... Sorry to see you guys getting burned like that. Terry
