Coughing dog

One of my hounds has developed a dry cough. Notice it more when the hounds are off loaded from the truck in the early morning. Not sure what are causes of coughing in dogs, but have heard of kennel cough. I dont want the symptom to worsen and any advice would be appreciated.

One of mine did too. He died of hart worm. How old is your dog. I think it starts developing around five or six years old.

Riley, she is that age. I am concerned and will take her to the vet. Otherwise her health seems excellant.

Good luck buddy hope all works out. I make sure I give all my dogs there heart worm pill every month now. Good luck.

Cannot believe it, but no heart worm in South Africa. I thought that we had every disease known to man.
