Hey Rookie,
Welcome to a sport that can be very addictive or very repelling, depending on your start. I hope you are able to get a well started hound or at least have some buddies willing to help you.
good hunting!!!

Thanks I have been talking to the guy I'm getting my hounds from and it sounds like I'm in trouble already. Ha Ha I'm already a freak about hunting and have bird dogs, love watching them find birds. My wife says I have a sickness I just call it a passion.

This an excellent site to monitor and learn from. I have been a houndsman most of my life, but continually get new ideas and prospectives from those on this forum.
Be sure and bring your hunting ethics and law abiding charactor on-board with you.
Look forward to reading about your hounds and experiences.
