how many cups a day do you feed when hunting vs not hunting. trying to figure out the right amount cuz i think they were getting a bit to much

There is no set amount. It depends on the type/quality of food you're feeding and each dogs metabolism rate. You'll need to watch each dog's wieght over the period of a few weeks to determine how much you need to feed. Just adjust accordingly. The more you're running them, the more protien they need, so add more meat to their dry food during season. I keep the same amount of dry food the same all year long, just adjust how much meat they get. Triple the amount when I'm running them every day.
