Back to bears after a busy fall, The dogs haven;t been out hunting for a month which is an all time dryspell. They did manage to catch two this morning, I walked two pups in today and let them trail the first bear after it jumped.

Vicki and Tredster the pups

Rudy high jumping

Second bear of the morning was a pretty good boar.

Not at the tree, but when I put them down on the fresh bear track Vicki took it opening pretty good, They both stayed with the big dogs for about 1/2 mile then came back on their track.

caught this sow this morning after a 4 mile dry run which ended when I had a collar recovery to do when Vicki slipped her collar. Here i thought i would be doing a collar recovery with a dog in it. I was surprised when both pups hit the road behind the big dogs and Garmin said there should have only been one.
