I was just wondering how many hours a week some of you hunt my self I work at least 60 hours a week and I have a wife and 3 kids under 5 I hunt usually between 25 and 30 hours a week sometimes less sometimes more depends on how my night at work went...is this enough time...or do I need to find some more time somehow....

You are lucky to be putting in that much time already. make sure the family has some time with you first then hunting! I wish I could hunt that much every week but I have 2 boys under 4 years so it's important to be home for them. When I do go I try to take the 3 year old as much as possible, he's already trying to figure out how to get his own hound.

I am fortunate to have a wife that loves hunting with me her and all my kids ride around with me about half the time I'm out so that helps a bunch

Personally, I don't think the hours matter as long as the dogs get the work they need. I've hunted every day in a week and I think my dogs got dumber because of it yet I've also hunted one or two days in a week and had them on more game than I could have hoped for.(all in the past, of course. The dogs I have now get all the exercise they need in one or two elk races lol) If you only get a day or two a week, if you can, pick your day wisely. That is the most important thing.
