I have a collar that got to where it wouldn't hold charge. I tried scraping connections, etc.Chargers work on other collars. I got a new battery & replaced the old one.Now the blue light comes on to charge but after charging I can't get the red lights to come on or the colar to turn on at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know many of you know more than Garmin does about their own collars & gps'.

I know you swapped the battery. But did you leave it off for at least 10mins or more? If not try that. So that the cmos can clear. After that you are left calling Garmin with a bad board. If out of warranty $89.

Thanks. Before I went to bed last night, I tore it down again & found a piece broke on the board. So today I called Garmin , I think he said $95.01.I did get some good news though. When I was making my collar original again I found that the gps antenna was bit through. I didn't think Hoss was getting that close to a live bear.
