The state thinks people are nieve to this thatwe all beleive there is only a a few hundred lions in the Black Hills . All I can say is everyone I talk to about it LAUGHS when they here a few hundred.

There are a 1,000 or more, and that comes out of GFW employees.

A know of ranches who have had severe issues with losing baby calves to cats.

WHAT IS THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA GOING TO WAITTILL THEY STAR KILLING CHILDREN, MT. BIKE RIDERS, HIKERS, CAMPERS, ECT.

They wana allow the boot hunters to shoot what ever they wana kill. Also the GFW Supervisor Mike wants to kill noting but females. If you ask me that is so STUPID. I can see removing a certain number of Females, but older Toms and young problem cats are the ones who should be being taken.

A true Houndsmen runs a lion and trees them and finds out what the sex is while there up in the tree and decides if it is a cat that needs to be harvested. But if not harvested that cat wants to stay as far as they can from humans( which is the goal we are trying to acheive I thaught.)

The system here in South Dakota is really messed up if you ask me. Take all these females so they dont rebred , but what about all the Toms out there. Really smart SDGFW leave all the males to really have a problem on your hands in a few years.

The blood wont be on our hands as the public when a child or someones loved one is lost to a Mt Lion attack.

To many Tree Huggers and Antis have moved here from California n Washington.

They smile know we cant do sh*t right now but run Bobcat but wait till one of there loved ones is lost. Our hills are so over populated with lions that there isnt enough food in the hills for them that tey are being seen in Towns and the open plans.

There is going to be another bill sent in front of South Dakota Legislative, I just have to find the right contact.

Ranchers and myself lost alot of our calf crop last year to lions. This has to stop. Even if it is only a pursue hunt only.

Not all of these cats need killed just need te population maintaned. You run a cat with hounds enough there going to stay as far away from humans and dogs ect asmuch as possible. But allowing boot hunters to kill evrything they see is bullsh*t in my boot. THAT IS BLACK AND WHITE A FUC*IN MASSICURE.

I believe there needs to be a chosen amount of these cats taken , but to have your kill quota as mostly all females makes no sence. Yeah thats real bright leave all the toms who are fitting for territory with major attitude issues.

If we got it done in Wasington State wecan get a cat season for lions in South Dakota.

N keep all the wolves the hell away from my ranch..................................

The lions took enough money from my family last year I a not going to start takingmore of a hit to feed the wolves.

I think if they do not open the lion season for hound people who do the real justice of conservation for the maintenance of the lions. I want the state to start paying us ranchers our losses for a death loss of our herds.

They are trying to protect a PREDITOR , so what about protecting the people who raise livestock for the NATION.

These laws need changed people . PLEASE HELP.

I will be at every Commisioners meeting talking till I am blue in the face. I will not lose anymore calves or cows to Lions, andsure the hell will not loss one of my daughter or son yo an animal that need to be placed on the preditors list instead of being protected.
